Tracing our history back to 1920, it’s safe to say Summers-Inman have had a major part to play shaping the built environment around us. With an established Leicester office, we have been a key part of the property and construction industry across the period, supporting major private and public sector clients to achieve their objectives.
We provide an exceptional level of high-quality service for projects and programmes of all sizes.
2024 has seen many highlights and the business continues to strengthen and evolve. Managing Partner Ian Griffiths together with partners David Cronje and Ben Smith have this year been joined in partnership by Dan Green, who heads our Leicester Building Surveying team.
We are delighted to continue our support for clients in Leicestershire and the East Midlands. Our teams support education providers across the region, including multiple school projects for Leicestershire County Council, together with serial projects for the University of Leicester and Leicester College.
At Pioneer Park, Leicester we have provided services to assist Brackley Property Developments and Leicester City Council in creating Grade A offices and nine workspace units funded via the previous governments ‘levelling up funding’ initiative.
Our Construction Management arm is building on our long-standing expertise in the food and beverage sector, providing services to Pepsico at sites in Leicestershire and across the UK.
Further afield, project completions include Nationwide Building Society’s headquarters at Threadneedle Street in the City of London, where we supported the client with cost management services.
Our work for clients including Assura, Tesco and McDonalds means we are working in all corners of the UK, delivering added value across single projects and higher volume programmes.
Moving on to the evolution and continuous improvement of the firm, the development of our own staff skills and their growth is a strong focus and we continue to support team members progression to professional qualification, including membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
Our journey towards becoming carbon neutral by 2030 continues at pace and we have made further strides to reduce our carbon emissions.
Looking ahead to 2025 we have the strong foundations to continue our success, investing in our people, improving skills and achieving exceptional customer satisfaction.
We continue to support Procon Leicestershire as an ongoing Patron and look forward to being an active part of this extremely valuable and enjoyable group.
