Spotlight on Leicester:

With the largest of our eight UK wide offices based at Grove Park in Leicester, we have worked on many fantastic projects within Leicestershire and the City itself. We are proud to deliver projects both locally and throughout the UK from our long-established base in the city.

Dock 2, 3 and 5, Pioneer Park, Leicester: Summers-Inman is pleased to be appointed for several new build schemes at Pioneer Park, which is located north of Leicester city centre.

Dock 2 is a three-storey research and development building with ancillary facilities, car parking and on-site landscaping. Further schemes, Dock 3, 4 and 5, create a 63,500 sqft development of Grade A Offices and nine workspace units. The current scheme is being funded from the Governments Levelling up fund secured by Leicester City Council

Ian Marlow Centre: Summers Inman are also appointed to deliver a number of new start up units on a site in central Leicester. The scheme is again a scheme being funded from the Governments Levelling up fund secured by Leicester City Council and is being delivered in Partnership with BPDL and will be on site in the new year.

Waterside (Yu Energy Offices), Northgate Street, Leicester: Located by the Grand Union Canal and River Soar, the design and construction of the new Yu Energy offices helped kickstart Leicester’s Waterside regeneration area.

The new 16,500 sqft office building is designed to a ‘Cat A’ standard with bespoke fit-out tailored to Yu Energy’s operational requirements. This new building is helping to transform the historic waterside area and help develop a community hub alongside new homes, amenities and existing parkland. Its proximity to industrial areas, Leicester train station and Highcross shopping centre means it is well-placed for commuters, professionals, and consumers.

PepsiCo International R&D Facilities, Leicester: This project involved the redevelopment of former offices and warehouse to create new Hi-Tech R&D facilities and associated works for PepsiCo. Facilities included various laboratories and R&D areas together with offices, meeting rooms, restaurant, and conference facilities. Sustainability was key for this project, and it achieved a BREEAM Very Good accreditation.
