The Gatehouse project saw the creation of a modern extension to a Grade II listed house at the entrance to the historic town of Market Bosworth.
The extension spans approximately 100 sqm and includes a contemporary living, dining and kitchen space, blending the historic charm of the original structure with modern design elements.
The project carefully preserved the character of the Grade II listed building while incorporating state-of-the-art features and materials.
The primary purpose of The Gatehouse scheme was to provide additional living space and modern amenities while respecting and preserving the historical significance of the original gatehouse.
The extension was designed to enhance the functionality of the property, making it suitable for contemporary living, whilst maintaining its historical integrity and aesthetic appeal.
The creative approach included innovative design solutions, such as a glass link connecting the old and new structures which preserved the visual integrity of the Gatehouse while providing a clear distinction between the historic and modern elements.
