This award will showcase, recognise and celebrate the successes of property and construction professionals at an early stage of their career and who as at 30 June 2024 are under the age of 30. This applies to individuals in substantive posts or trainee positions, both students and non-students are eligible. The nominee should have demonstrated innovative thinking, made a significant contribution to a project, or otherwise demonstrated their ability to rise to the top. Entrants should be able to demonstrate how, specifically, they have made a difference to their projects or business.
They will be judged on all round ability - not only academic and work-related achievements - but also their enthusiasm for property and construction as an industry and their ambition.
Entries should be submitted by the nominee’s employer and should include a commendation from a senior leader within their organisation.
Entrants must be currently employed by a member company of ProCon Leicestershire.
Since joining the Willmott Dixon Management Trainee programme, as its first framework management practitioner, Adam has successfully managed the delivery of 50 new build properties for social housing and the conversion and refurbishment of at least 30 additional properties.
Alice joined Danaher & Walsh in September 2016 as a trainee Quantity Surveyor. Her blend of academic excellence, leadership and commitment to industry advancement is described as making her a standout professional, poised to make a significant contribution in shaping the future of construction.
Claudia commenced employment with Danaher & Walsh in August 2020 as a Graduate Site Engineer after completing a degree in Civil Engineering. As a self-motivated and resourceful individual Claudia has a proven track record and extensive experience in bridgeworks, highway works, public realm works, car parks, drainage and infrastructure.
The application will be judged by a panel of expert judges and a shortlist selected by the end of July.
The shortlisted person will then be interviewed by the panel of judges on Tuesday 6th August 2024 in order to select three finalists.
The winner of the Rising Star of the Year Award will be decided by the panel of expert judges.
