For this award we are looking for the most striking and inspiring images that showcase the architectural features of Leicestershire’s built environment. Open to all photographers, amateur and professional, young and old. Send us your favourite photographs showing off Leicestershire and Rutland’s architectural features relating to buildings and construction, whether brand spanking new or ancient history or anywhere in between.
We want to find the best images of the buildings, structures and other man-made features of this great county – from the midst of the city of Leicester to the charm of its market towns and villages. Creative photography is key and the image does not have to show the whole building. It is the impact and interest of the image that are important.

The application will be judged by a panel of expert judges and a shortlist selected by the end of July.
The shortlisted projects will then be voted on by the judges in order to select a number of finalists.
