ProCon Awards - Three construction rising stars in line for award
Three young professionals who help their employers improve the built environment are the finalists in the Rising Star of the Year in the 2024 ProCon Leicestershire property and construction awards.
Adam Dodd, Alice Stewardson and Claudia Carroll are in the running in this category, which is sponsored by Keepmoat Homes and is one of six in this year’s 21st ProCon Leicestershire Awards.
The Rising Star of the Year finalists are:
Adam Dodd, nominated by Willmott Dixon Construction
Since joining the Willmott Dixon Management Trainee programme, as its first framework management practitioner, Adam has successfully managed the delivery of 50 new build properties for social housing and the conversion and refurbishment of at least 30 additional properties.
Additionally, he has overseen pre-construction work for five other sites currently under development. His responsibilities include identifying suitable development sites, assembling an effective design team, securing funding, and engaging with contractors for the procurement and monitoring of works, whilst also being focused on the end tenant benefits.

In her professional career, Alice has demonstrated exemplary leadership and technical expertise, mentoring placement students, engaging with local schools, and promoting careers in construction at universities and national events. Academically, she achieved a first class degree in Quantity Surveying in 2021 whilst also working.
